Position Summary

Career Readiness Learning Objectives:
Communication: The student will be engaging directly with the business consultant and client to complete projects through face to face meetings, Zoom meetings and email communication.
Critical Thinking: The student will be developing websites, logos and other digital materials to create a professional and consistent presence for small businesses.
Professionalism: The student will be working in and acting as part of a professional office environment with interactions and tasks directly with or for small business owners and SBDC business consultants.
Teamwork: The student will be working with the SBDC consultants and small business owners as a team to complete various projects.
Technology: The student will utilize various databases and software to develop websites, social media platform presence, logos and other materials for small businesses. They will use online tools for communication and projects.

SBDC Tech Team provides website development, logo creation, social media platform assistance and other digital marketing assistance to SBDC clients. Additional duties include business plan review, marketing strategy development, research and analysis and assisting consultants as needed.

Experience with WIX website development platform.
Familiar with business social media platforms.
Ability to create logos with Creative Cloud or similar software.
Good communication skills.
