The SBCC Associate-II will support the implementation, monitoring, documentation, and coordination of Social and Behavior Change (SBC) interventions under the project. The SBC approaches will address demand-side barriers, misinformation, stigma, social and gender norms, and barriers to accessing appropriate SRHR information and services, while promoting climate-resilient and environmentally responsible SRHR practices.
Working under the guidance of the Advisor-I, Community Access, the Associate-II will provide day-to-day support to implementing partners and project teams in implementing SBC activities related to FP, MR, PAC, and other SRHR services. The position will support community engagement through Community Action Groups (CAGs), pharmacies and drug sellers, GPs, and other community actors.
The Associate-II will also support VCAT and stigma-reduction activities and the integration of climate-resilient and environmentally responsible SRHR practices into community engagement and SBC interventions. The position will assist in developing and disseminating SBC materials and digital content, conducting field monitoring, collecting and compiling program data, and documenting lessons and good practices. The position will work closely with Health Systems, RM&E, Gender Justice and GBV, and partner organizations to strengthen community-level demand generation and referral linkages within the Urban SRHR Service Network.
E.SBCC Materials Development and Digital Communication: Support development, adaptation, pretesting, production, and dissemination of SBCC materials, job aids, and communication products. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of SRHR messages and materials. Develop content and support management of digital and social media platforms, including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, websites, and other communication channels. Support documentation of success stories, case studies, best practices, and project achievements.
F. Monitoring, Documentation, and Reporting: Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation of SBCC, community engagement, pharmacy interventions and CAG activities. Support development and use of monitoring tools, checklists, databases, and reporting formats to document activities and results. Collect, compile, analyze, and report implementation data and field findings and share recommendations with supervisors and partners. Support research, assessments, evaluations, and evidence-generation activities related to SBCC and community engagement interventions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and activity updates.
Coordinate with implementing partners and relevant project teams to support timely implementation of SBC activities. Support activity planning, meeting arrangements, presentations, learning events, and other project documentation. Maintain liaison with DGFP, DGHS, city corporation authorities, and relevant technical committees for review and approval of communication materials and messages. Coordinate with government counterparts, City Corporation authorities, partners, GPs, pharmacies, health facilities, community actors, consultants, and vendors for implementation of community engagement activities. Support observance of national and international days and campaigns related to SRHR, family planning, and gender equality. Work closely with Health Systems, RM&E, Gender Justice and GBV, Communications, and other technical teams as required. Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
