The SBA Lending Relationship Manager (the “RM”) acts in both a business development and subject matter expert role, supporting lead generation, underwriting and management of Small Business Administration (“SBA”) and other Government Lending Program (“GLP”) lending programs. The RM will interface directly with clients and other teammates, both within the Wholesale Banking Group (the “Group”) and Atlantic Union Bank (the “Bank”). The RM’s primary role will be to generate and develop new business opportunities, both through individual prospects and alongside other Relationship Managers (within the Wholesale and Business Banking LOBs). The RM will not be responsible for the direct ownership or management of relationships; rather, the RM will align with other Relationship Managers to support, specifically, SBA and GLP lending products. The RM will play a vital role in the growth and development of the Group’s Commercial & Industrial (“C&I”) portfolio and market share, while driving significant fee income. Primary focus will be to develop new prospects to the Bank and cross-sell SBA and GLP lending products to the existing client base.
