Job Title: SBA Business Development Officer

Location: Houston, TX (Galleria area)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SBA Business Development Officer (BDO) to join a growing, entrepreneurial community bank. This is a unique opportunity to help build and expand an SBA lending platform from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Self-source SBA loan opportunities, focusing on smaller market deals
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with business owners, centers of influence, and referral partners
• Structure SBA 7(a) and 504 loans and guide clients through the process
• Collaborate with credit and operations teams to ensure smooth loan execution
• Represent the bank in the local market and participate in networking events

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of SBA lending programs and guidelines
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
