Qualifications: Under general supervision of the Assistant Slot Shift Manager/Shift Manager, the Writer/Cashier will be responsible for providing Sports betting guest services by providing excellent customer service, selling tickets and ensuring the proper payouts are processed.
High School diploma or GED required; prior cashiering and customer service experience required; basic math and money transactions skill required; must have experience with computers, touch screens, A/V system and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience in sports or online gaming highly desired. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in Arizona and California, if applicable. Must be 18 years of age. Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred. Tribal preference given to qualified enrolled tribal members.
Located at 350 Picacho Road in Winterhaven, California, the administration building sits atop Indian Hill overlooking Paradise Casino to the East and the construction of the new Fort Yuma Health Care Center to the North.
Here you will find the offices of the President, Vice-President, and the Tribal Council Members. The Tribal Chambers is also located within the building where meetings with the Tribal Council are held.
Also located within the administration building are the offices for the Tribal Administrator, Tribal Council Secretary, Comptroller, Human Resources, Payroll, Revenue Distribution, Finance, our Grants Writer/Coordinator and Records Retention.
The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. The offices are closed between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. for lunch break.
