Starting Rate of pay: $23.67/hour

Shifts Available and Hours:

Rotating shifts (Days / Afternoons / Midnights) as per the production schedule, as follows:

  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
  • Night Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Hours are determined based on operational needs and seniority under the Collective Agreement.

Shift Premium:

  • $0.65/hour extra for the night shift
  • $0.50/hour extra for the afternoon shift

What you will be doing

  • Operate saw equipment to safely cut aluminum profiles according to customer specifications.
  • Read production orders and verify dimensions using measuring tools.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met.
  • Stack, package, and prepare finished material for the next stage of production or shipment.
  • Follow all health, safety, quality, and housekeeping standards while working as part of the production team.

What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience operating industrial machinery
  • Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications

  • Ability to safely lift at least 100 lbs with a partner on a repetitive basis
  • Flexibility to work on all shifts as per operational needs (day, evening and overnight)
  • Experience operating saws or other industrial manufacturing equipment
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools (e.g., calipers and squares)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable team player with a strong focus on safety
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
