Peerless Pump Company, an Indianapolis based subsidiary of Grundfos, is seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join its Package Engineered Systems team in our new facility in Waller Texas!

As our new Saw Operator, you will be operating band saws to perform precision cuts on pipe and structural steel, while managing raw material inventory and ensuring quality standards are met in every piece. What you will be doing

As a key part of the Manufacturing Operations team, you'll create impact by Delivering precision-cut materials that form the foundation of Grundfos products, directly contributing to the quality and reliability our customers depend on.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Operate band saws to perform precision measurement and cutting of pipe and structural steel to specification
• Manage organization and inventory of raw steel and pipe in the outdoor storage yard
• Inspect completed work and maintain quality compliance documentation per product specifications
• Direct rigging and moving of heavy equipment and transport materials using forklifts and cranes
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and maintain a safe, clean work area
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate production

What makes you a great fit

Above all, you are a detail-oriented manufacturing professional with strong hands-on skills, the ability to read blueprints and specifications, and a commitment to safety and quality in every task.

We would also imagine that you have:

• High School Diploma, GED/HSE or equivalent *required
• 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing or shop environment *much preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Experience operating material handling equipment including forklifts, cranes, and hoists
• Veterans with related MOS experience are strongly encouraged to apply. *strongly preferred

It is a plus if you also:

• Experience with precision measurement tools and band saw operation
• Basic computer skills including MS Windows, Outlook, and Internet
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled factory environment and lift/push/pull up to 40 pounds

The salary range for this position is $44,900-$59,460 (paid hourly, non-exempt). Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate’s profile. The range listed is just one component of Peerless Grundfos’s total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Peerless Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in Waller, Texas.
