Job title – Savory Application Intern

Location – Tuas, Singapore

The internship is designed to provide hands-on support for the Savory Flavors Laboratory by assisting with flavor application, product evaluation, and sample preparation. The intern will also support raw material and flavor sample management, maintain laboratory organization, and assist with the upkeep and maintenance of laboratory equipment to ensure efficient daily operations.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Learn, manage and arrange Raw Materials inventory for lab prototyping, by functionality and RM property
• Learn formulation design, lab prototype preparation and flavour application
• Conduct experiments and testing
• Learn to operate lab equipment and be responsible for equipment in good condition and well maintenance
• Set up database to keep record for all evaluations and best practice lab prototypes formulation
• Develop working interpersonal and communication skills as work cross functions team such as supply chain, other BU application lab, analytical, sensory, and or other countries application technical team etc

You Bring:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or another related scientific discipline.
• Passionate about food innovation, particularly in savory flavors and product development
• Eager to learn, curious, and open to exploring new concepts and laboratory techniques
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional team environment
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to maintaining high standards of laboratory safety and quality
