Job Description

Must possess a current/active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. Applicants who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered.

Work as an integral part of a dynamic team conducting critical intelligence collection operations with advanced collection systems. This operations team received one of the Intelligence Community's highest awards and was recognized as Team of the Year by Leidos. The Satellite Analyst role is a critical position within this team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research intelligence databases, assemble, analyze and brief information in order to maintain accurate and timely tracking of satellites of interest, in coordination with community partners.
  • Analyze changes to the threat environment, and craft/disseminate tailored critical and time-sensitive information to support customer objectives.
  • Generate and disseminate standardized custom products on a regular basis to all elements of the team.
  • Analyze, process, and correct inaccuracies in large datasets of analytical reporting.
  • Work closely with all supported customer offices, often being one of the few team members to do so regularly.
  • This position requires some off nominal work hours to include possible weekend hours. Shift differential pay is included under specific circumstances.
  • Potential for short duration travel within CONUS. No overseas deployment is required.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must possess a current/active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph. Applicants who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of recent IC/DoW experience working on a small team performing responsibilities comparable to those described above.
  • High level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency.
  • Proven ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail in faced-paced environments.
  • Collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to brief and communicate with all levels of customer management.

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in engineering or related STEM field.
  • Working knowledge of Satellite Toolkit (STK).
  • Ability to document, troubleshoot, and clearly communicate potential modifications to custom software packages to enhance efficiency.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
