Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is a leading research-intensive university in Singapore. The host research group focuses on nanophotonics, plasmonics and quantum photonic devices.
We are looking for a SASEAF Postdoctoral Fellow to develop hybrid plasmonic–photonic nanostructures that enhance solid‑state single‑photon emitters, covering fabrication using direct laser writing (DLW), optical characterization and theoretical modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop DLW fabrication workflows for hybrid photonic structures.
- Integrate plasmonic nanoparticles and quantum emitters; characterize optical and single‑photon performance.
- Run theoretical simulations (FDTD or equivalent) to optimize structures.
- Publish results, support grant deliverables, and collaborate/mentor within the team.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Physics/Photonics/Nanoscience or related field.
- Experience in nanophotonics/plasmonics, optical spectroscopy, and data analysis.
- Familiar with micro/nanofabrication (DLW preferred) and electromagnetic simulations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
We regret to inform you that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
