As an SAS Viya Developer/Admin for AML Software and systems, you will install, configure vendor software, applications, and data ingestion frameworks, which are typically complex in nature, or creates new programs to support user and management needs.
You will be accountable to your team for the successful implementation of working software and code to support AML needs, primarily related to transaction monitoring. You will mainly be responsible for SAS Viya deployment to multiple environments & use SQL and other data tools to accomplish this and may need to engineer solutions to standardize and ingest large data sets to complete your tasks (ETL, API, Pub/Sub).
You will also work in an agile team and regularly attend agile events/ceremonies to organize and understand work. You will also engage in direct conversations and partnership with the AML business teams, other business units, and your peers to ensure that you deliver the best technical solution possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and/or enhance working software to support bank needs.
Participate in planning/scope estimates, provide detailed design, development, unit testing, defect fixes, implementation planning/execution, change controls, and production support/incident resolution.
Provide technical leadership via design direction, code reviews, and unit testing direction.
Provide partnership and guidance to testers, analysts, and business partners
Diagnose root causes to complex technical problems e.g., data quality issues, performance, availability of application.
Provide L3 production support 24/7/365 spread across the team.
Research and facilitate the monitoring, high availability and support methodology for our production environment.
Assist with maintaining evergreen system documentation containing design content, admin guidelines, onboarding procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Configure users, groups & roles for various levels across business functions.
Follows agile principles and understands agile events
Resolves problems which occur in production systems.
May serve as technical leader in the development of automated systems or procedures.
Provide technical guidance and training to junior resources
Perform other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:

Professional experience in SAS Viya platform and installation
SAS Viya Administration experience (v 3.5 or higher) will be highly weighted.
Exposure to writing micro-services (API build out) & scripts in SAS.
Hands-on work experience in AWS Cloud Platform / Kubernetes framework.
Ability to schedule periodic updates and keep up with Vendor patches/fixes to keep the environment current.
Familiarity with Big Data and platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, EWS and Cloud Technologies.
Experience using monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Zenoss, Splunk, and DataDog
Expertise in using GitHub Repositories
Experience with ADO and DevOps practices and mindset
Experience with continuous improvement principles and frameworks
Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision in an agile team environment
Solid understanding of Agile software development and delivery practices.
Can-Do attitude and strong team-based accountability
Strong communication and collaboration skills, focus on customer service
Microsoft Office experience
Experience working in multi-platform environment
Ability to balance both development and support roles
Experience in working on projects that involve business segments
Strong analytical, strong troubleshooting skills and excellent communication skills

Compensation Range:
$70,000 - $140,000 Annual Salary
The compensation range represents the anticipatedlow and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
