Reporting to theRegional Sales Manager,the SAR Specialistis responsible forcomplex, non‑standard customer application projects by defining,validating, and delivering customized Videojet coding and marking solutions, acting as the technical bridge between customers, sales, and engineering.
The position will be based in Istanbul and involves a combination of office-based work and customer visits across the region.
In this role, a typical day will look like:
Lead and support Special Application Request (SAR) projects from opportunity identification through implementation and customer acceptance.
Work closely with Account Managers, Service Engineers, Product Management, and customers to understand application requirements and define suitable technical solutions.
Evaluate customer production environments andidentifyopportunities for customized coding, marking, labeling, traceability, and automation solutions.
Coordinate technical feasibility assessments, solution design activities, testing, and project execution for SAR opportunities.
Support integration of Videojet solutions with customer production lines, automation systems, and existing manufacturing processes.
Prepare technical documentation, application specifications, test reports, and project records to ensure successful project execution and knowledge sharing.
Provide technical support during demonstrations, trials, installations, commissioning, and customer acceptance phases.
Troubleshoot technical challengesencounteredduring SAR projects and coordinate resolution activities with internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a liaison between local teams and global/regional SAR, Engineering, R&D, and Product Management teams to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
Identifyand promote best practices, standard solutions, and reusable application concepts that improve project efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and customer requirements to expand Videojet’s application capabilities and value proposition.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing SAR project success rates, execution speed, and commercial impact.
Share technical knowledge and application expertise with sales, service, and regional teams through training and coaching activities.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Willingness to travel up to3days per week (somenights away from home)
Bachelor'sinEngineering
5 to 7 years of relevant experience in project management
Strong technical backgroundand experience in automation, marketing coding, or OEM companies
Vendor management experience is valuable for this role
