Key Facts: SAP Analytics Cloud, Finance analytics, Planning and reporting data models, Power BI & Tableau, in Basel/home office.

Main tasks:

• Design, enhance, and support finance-related IT systems with a strong focus on SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  
• 
  Contribute to both functional and technical solution design, including defect resolution and continuous system improvements
  
• 
  Build and maintain robust planning and reporting data models, including SAC data actions and logic, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and scalability
  
• 
  Develop intuitive input templates, dashboards, reports, and visualizations with a strong emphasis on usability and seamless process integration
  
• 
  Translate business requirements into clear, structured technical specifications
  
• 
  Ensure smooth integration between SAC and core systems such as SAP ERP, HFM, AWS, and VENA
  
• 
  Monitor system performance proactively and implement enhancements to improve user experience and data quality
  
• 
  Identify and implement automation opportunities within finance processes, including AI/ML-driven solutions where applicable
  
• 
  Optimize system performance, speed, and responsiveness through technical and process improvements
  
• 
  Stay up to date with SAP releases and leverage new features to continuously enhance system capabilities
  
• 
  Design and maintain structured, governance-aligned data models to support compliant and consistent financial reporting and analytics
  
• 
  Act as a technical lead in cross-functional transformation initiatives, aligning business objectives with system capabilities
  
• 
  Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver integrated, scalable solutions
  
• 
  Support change initiatives through documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training, including SAC onboarding

Your qualifications:

• A degree in Information Technology, Finance, or a related discipline
  
• 
  Strong hands-on experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, including integration, design, testing, and documentation
  
• 
  Solid knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  
• 
  Experience in finance transformation, digitalization, or process optimization initiatives
  
• 
  Structured, solution-oriented working style combined with strong communication skills
  
• 
  Fluently in English and German
  
• 
  Familiar with agile methodologies
  
• SAP or Microsoft certifications (advantageous)
  
• 
  Experience in large-scale, enterprise-level project environments
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of financial planning and reporting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlling
  
• 
  Technical expertise in SAC or BPC; JavaScript knowledge considered a plus
  
• 
  Experience in collaborating with external vendors and partners
  
• 
  Strong interest and enthusiasm for financial analytics and business intelligence technologies
