Role Overview

The SAP Site Business & Integration Analyst supports the Senior Coordinator in maintaining effective, integrated, and reliable SAP-enabled business processes at the Island Gold District. The role provides hands-on functional support to site users, assists with issue investigation and resolution, helps translate operational needs into documented business requirements, and supports the adoption of corporate SAP standards, solutions, and upgrades.

Working across site functions and with Corporate Enterprise Systems, the Analyst assists with user enablement, data quality, process documentation, testing, reporting, controls, and continuous improvement. The position helps ensure that SAP remains a dependable tool for daily operations while providing the Senior Coordinator with timely analysis, documentation, and follow-through on site priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Coordinator in promoting consistent and effective execution of SAP-enabled business processes across the mine site.
  • Provide first-line functional support to site users by triaging questions, investigating issues, documenting root causes, resolving matters within assigned authority, and escalating complex items to the Senior Coordinator or Corporate Enterprise Systems.
  • Gather, validate, and document site business requirements, process gaps, and improvement opportunities for review and prioritization by the Senior Coordinator.
  • Assist with SAP initiatives, upgrades, enhancements, and integrations through data preparation, testing, defect tracking, user communications, training materials, and post-implementation support.
  • Perform process and data analysis to identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve SAP functionality, workflows, and standardized practices.
  • Support user onboarding, refresher training, job aids, and change-adoption activities under the direction of the Senior Coordinator.
  • Monitor master and transactional data quality, investigate exceptions, coordinate corrections with process owners, and promote sound data-governance practices.
  • Maintain site-level SAP process maps, procedures, work instructions, training records, issue logs, testing evidence, and other support documentation.
  • Assist in monitoring SAP usage, process adherence, interfaces, and recurring system concerns; prepare summaries and recommendations for the Senior Coordinator.
  • Support internal controls, Delegation of Authority requirements, audit requests, and regulatory obligations related to SAP-enabled processes.
  • Develop, validate, and maintain operational reports, dashboards, and KPIs by supporting accurate data inputs and alignment with corporate reporting standards.
  • Coordinate day-to-day follow-up with site process owners, other sites, and corporate teams, sharing lessons learned and supporting standardized SAP practices.
  • Track assigned actions, service requests, and improvement initiatives, providing regular status updates and escalating risks or delays to the Senior Coordinator.
  • Complete other SAP business-support and integration duties consistent with the role.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in information technology, computer science, business administration, finance, supply chain, engineering, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience supporting SAP-enabled business processes, enterprise systems, or business analysis; mining or industrial experience is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of relevant SAP modules, such as FI, CO, MM, PM, or HR, with experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, testing changes, troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and understanding cross-functional impacts.
  • Strong analytical, data-validation, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with reporting tools, internal controls, data governance, and change management are assets.

Working Conditions

  • Based at the Island Gold District in Dubreuilville, Ontario, with regular interaction across site functions and with corporate Enterprise Systems teams.
  • Work is primarily office based, with occasional visits to operational areas in accordance with site safety requirements.
  • Additional hours or occasional work on statutory holidays may be required during system implementations, upgrades, month-end activities, or critical issue resolution.
  • The schedule may include Monday to Friday or a compressed work week (7days on 7 days off or 4 days on 3 days off), depending on business requirements.

Travel & Accommodation

  • This is a site-based position at the Island Gold District in Dubreuilville, Ontario.
  • Company will provide camp accommodation and travel allowance as needed.

Salary Range: $80,200-$128,750CAD

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
