About the opportunity
Our SAP Senior Capability Specialist has overall responsibility for the SAP Accounts Payable and Procurement technology roadmap, change delivery, application maintenance and support. This involves close collaboration with a range of Business and Technology stakeholders to continuously improve existing solutions as well as design and implement technology solutions to support future business initiatives. We are looking for someone who can build knowledge articles, work on both BAU ServiceNow tickets as well as on project delivery work.

You will lead the support and delivery of business-critical solutions across SAP ERP, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, OpenText Vendor Invoice Management, and related integrations, ensuring seamless end-to-end business processes. Managing 2-3 initiatives at a time, you'll be responsible for solution design, estimation, configuration, development, testing, and deployment. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you'll drive outcomes that meet quality, budget, and delivery objectives while ensuring smooth transitions into production.

You’ll also 

  • Partnering with key Accounts Payable and Procurement business stakeholders in SBU’s & FBU’s in the capacity of an SAP Subject Matter Expert, providing advice on SAP applications to enable delivery of business strategies
  • Provides application support across all Accounts Payable and Procurement solutions resolving incidents and requests in line with SLA’s and undertaking problem managing working closely with Service Management, engaging with Technology Vendors when required.
  • Lead, Design, estimate and implement Accounts Payable and Procurement solutions meeting Business and Non-functional requirements, including maintainability, extensibility, performance, reliability, and security.
  • Documents all applications and integration components for design and support purposes in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures and adheres to any applicable configuration management procedures.

About you 
We’re seeking someone with strong relationship-building skills who can effectively partner with SAP Engineering teams, Procurement and Accounts Payable stakeholders, Business Analysts, Architects, senior leaders, software vendors, and strategic delivery partners. You’ll bring advanced problem-solving, analytical and influencing capabilities to drive and enhance procurement and accounts payable solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

You’ll also need 

  • Significant experience in implementing and Supporting SAP Accounts Payable and Procurement solutions in SAP ERP, SAP VIM (including ABAP), SAP S/4 HANA and Fieldglass (optional)
  • If you don’t have SAP VIM then we are open to someone who has strong SAP FICO experience and is a SAP Finance Procurement expert
  • Background working as a Functional Consultant is relevant for this role as is experience as an ABAP Developer with UI5 development skills.
  • Advance Accounts Payable and Procurement technical skillset with the ability to drive design discussions with internal technology stakeholders
  • Significant experience working in large complex IT environments, with expert knowledge in maintaining, building and supporting SAP Accounts Payable and Procurement Applications.
