SAP Senior Functional analyst – Finance

Position Overview

The SAP Senior Functional analyst – Finance is responsible for defining and governing end-to-end SAP Finance solutions across PVH’s global business landscape. The role will lead the architecture and transformation of core finance, consolidation, group reporting, and financial integration capabilities, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA Finance and SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.

Serving as the solution design authority for SAP Finance, this position translates complex business and financial requirements into scalable, integrated, and supportable SAP solutions while leading cross-functional delivery from strategy and architecture through implementation, deployment, and production stabilization.

A key focus of the role is the architecture and integration of SAP Finance and Group Reporting with the broader enterprise landscape, including the integration of SAP financial data and processes with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The candidate should have strong experience designing and governing the integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and dependencies between SAP S/4HANA, Group Reporting, SAC, and related platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end SAP Finance solution architecture, spanning Record-to-Report, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, intercompany accounting, financial close, consolidation, group reporting, and financial integration.
  • Lead solution architecture and design for SAP S/4HANA Finance, ensuring alignment between operational finance, statutory reporting, group reporting, and management reporting requirements.
  • Serve as the architecture lead for SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, including consolidation models, consolidation units, group structures, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, validation, consolidation of investments, and consolidated financial statements.
  • Define the architecture and integration between SAP S/4HANA Finance, Group Reporting, SAC, and other financial reporting and planning platforms.
  • Design and govern integrations between SAP Finance and upstream/downstream platforms, including sales, procurement, supply chain, treasury, tax, HR, banking, planning, analytics, and external reporting solutions.
  • Lead fit-to-standard, process-design, fit-gap, architecture-review, and solution-design workshops with Finance and Technology stakeholders.
  • Partner with senior Finance, Technology, SI, and business stakeholders to resolve cross-functional architecture decisions, dependencies, and delivery risks.
  • Manage architecture and design activities across multiple Finance projects and change initiatives concurrently.
  • Support the strategic transition from the existing SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA, defining a scalable target-state architecture for global Finance.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of SAP experience, including 8+ years in SAP FI/CO and Finance solution design.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Finance, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Universal Journal, and financial close.
  • Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, consolidation, eliminations, currency translation, and group financial reporting.
  • Strong experience with integrations between SAP Finance, Group Reporting, SAC, and financial planning/reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SAP Finance integration with logistics and supply chain modules, including SD, MM, Procurement, Inventory Management, and related end-to-end processes.
  • Experience leading multiple full-cycle SAP Finance implementations or large-scale S/4HANA Finance transformations.
  • Strong understanding of Record-to-Report, intercompany accounting, financial controls, reconciliation, and statutory and management reporting.
  • Working knowledge of SAP integration technologies, including APIs, IDocs, OData, BAPIs, CDS Views, and SAP Integration Suite/CPI.
  • Proven ability to design scalable Finance solutions for global, multi-entity and multi-currency SAP environments, with strong architecture and stakeholder management skills.
