SAP Segregation of Duties (SoD) Business Consultant

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and technologically curious SAP Segregation of Duties (SoD) Business Consultant to continue the development and operation of our SoD conflict free SAP role concept and to be part of our internal IT controlling area.

You will join a small team based in Randers, Denmark. Collaborating closely and proactively with colleagues across Global IT (approx. 300 employees), our Business and 3. party partners. We value openness, knowledge sharing, and a strong teamwork mindset.

What you will be doing
You will be working with SoD tasks within relevant systems and solutions, you´ll be part of defining the technical controlling area and the governance around the subject. This in close cooperation with our SAP Authorization team, Technical IT controlling team and SAP Consultants in our business-driven domains in Global IT.


Furthermore, you will be involved in projects, either as the technical sparring partner or as overall responsible for relevant SoD tasks in both on-prem and relevant cloud SAP systems and as our new colleague you and your colleagues will be involved in our S/4 HANA project within relevant SoD topics.

Key Responsibilities for you and your colleagues

  • Continue development and maintenance of our SoD concept, including our SoD rulebook
  • Implement SoD rules for relevant SAP systems
  • Analyze SAP authorizations, identify incompatibility, and provide findings to Corporate Finance for risk assessment and rating decisions
  • Engage early in projects that may have SoD related risks, across SAP and cross system landscapes
  • Ensure compliance and controlling of SAP roles, SAP users, and SAP security within area of responsibility
  • Contribute to prioritization and KPI definition for compliance activities in alignment with PAI management
  • Monitor and report e.g. on, development in number of SoD risks, sensitive and critical access levels and the number of users holding such access, and role concept compliance according to defined standards and frameworks
  • Participate in and provide relevant information and documentation for external audits
  • Develop, maintain, and update procedures aligned with approved business processes and management requirements
  • Maintain and daily use of our own-developed SoD tool


How we work

  • Global IT is structured into business facing domains and enabling domains. Platforms & Integrations (PAI) is an enabling domain supporting and partnering with our business-facing domains and other relevant teams across Danish Crown Global IT.
  • Our way of working is based on the Agile principles adjusted to fit our enabling domain

About you

  • Documented experience within SAP Authorizations, SE16* and SAP tables as well as knowledge about SAP function modules within finance, logistic, sales etc. – an all-round SAP knowledge
  • Possible SoD knowledge with a financial auditor background
  • Practical experience working with Excel, Power Query, Power BI (creating queries), and SharePoint / Teams as this will be most of the daily toolbox
  • Preferrable knowledge about S/4 HANA in relation to the SoD and technical controlling area
  • Highly data driven, analytical, structured combined with a logical holistic mindset
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, handle many tasks simultaneously, and remain calm in crisis situations
  • Excellent communication skills and a solid track record in stakeholder management
  • You speak and write English and Danish
