Key Responsibilities & Required Skills
Provide SAP Security support across S/4HANA, ECC, BW, and Solution Manager systems, including user administration and role maintenance activities.
Create, modify, and maintain single, derived, and composite roles using PFCG, ensuring roles align with business requirements and organizational structures.
Manage user provisioning activities, including user creation, role assignments, and access modifications in line with access governance policies.
Perform authorization troubleshooting and analysis using tools such as SU53, ST01, and SUIM to resolve access-related issues.
Maintain and update authorization objects and SU24 proposals as required during role maintenance activities.
Support Fiori security administration in S/4HANA, including maintenance of catalogs, spaces/pages, business roles, and OData service authorizations
Administer SAP BW security, including creation and maintenance of BW analysis authorizations to control access to reporting data.
Design and maintain BW roles for reporting access, including access to InfoProviders, InfoObjects, Queries, and Composite Providers
Manage authorization variables and authorization-relevant characteristics to ensure secure data access in BW reports.
Support SAP BW reporting tools such as BEx Analyzer, BEx Query Designer, and SAP Analysis for Office, ensuring appropriate user access and data-level security.
Troubleshoot BW reporting authorization issues, including data access restrictions and missing authorization errors in queries and reports.
Perform Segregation of Duties (SoD) analysis and support remediation activities using SAP GRC Access Control, where applicable.
Assist with access requests, approvals, and provisioning activities through SAP GRC Access Request Management (ARM)
Support Emergency Access Management (Firefighter access) activities, including monitoring and review of firefighter logs.
Conduct periodic user access reviews and role reviews to ensure compliance with internal security policies.
Work with functional and technical teams to analyze and resolve authorization issues related to business transactions and reporting access
Support transport management activities related to roles and authorization changes across development, quality, and production systems.
Assist in audit and compliance activities, including providing user access reports, role documentation, and evidence for internal and external audits.
Monitor and support security-related incidents and service requests as part of SAP application support operations.
Ensure proper documentation of security processes, role design standards, and operational procedures is maintained.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with business users, functional teams, and auditors on SAP Security and GRC related topics.
Ability to clearly document security processes, role designs, and access control procedures, and present findings during access reviews, compliance discussions, and audit meetings.
Educational qualification:
BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
