We are seeking an SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant to join our Enterprise Resource Planning team. In this role, you will provide functional and technical leadership for direct material sourcing and procurement capabilities within our SAP landscape. You will contribute to solution design, system integration, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and SAP best practices.

The ideal candidate combines strong SAP MM expertise with experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Design and support SAP S/4HANA MM solutions that align with business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and SAP best practices.
  • Partner with product managers, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to implement new capabilities and enhancements.
  • Lead functional design activities for sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and direct material processes.
  • Support integration between SAP S/4HANA and enterprise applications, including cloud-based and non-SAP solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve user experience through SAP standard functionality and emerging SAP technologies.
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with operational standards.
  • Support testing, deployment, release management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and mitigate technical and functional risks affecting product delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls and governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with global teams, business stakeholders, and external partners to deliver roadmap objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of experience implementing SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) solutions in a large enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain business processes.
  • Experience supporting direct material procurement and sourcing operations.
  • 5+ years of overall IT experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
  • Experience integrating SAP solutions with SaaS platforms and legacy enterprise systems.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including product owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within distributed teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to collaboration, inclusiveness, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or other complex manufacturing industries.
  • Experience implementing reusable SAP capabilities and scalable enterprise platforms.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams.
  • Experience managing vendor and service-provider relationships.
  • Experience working in a Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliant environment.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration technologies, APIs, and cloud-based ERP architectures.
