SAP S/4 & BTP Integration Architect

We are looking for a skilled SAP Integration Architect to design and manage technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Satellite Applications & Systems

The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise in the latest SAP integration technologies and is comfortable leveraging modern AI-powered tools to work more effectively.

This role also requires strong leadership capabilities to guide functional teams, provide technical direction, and collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Integration Architecture & Delivery

• Lead technical integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and Satellite Applications/Systems
• Ensure data consistency, system interoperability, and scalable end-to-end integration design.

2. SAP BTP Integration Services

• Design, configure, and customize SAP BTP integration services, APIs, and connectors using the full SAP Integration Suite, including:
  • Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • API Management
  • Event Mesh
  • Cloud Transport Management
  • Cloud ALM

3. Integration Strategy & Governance

• Develop integration strategies, standards, and technical guidelines.
• Provide technical guidance across project teams to ensure consistent, reliable, and efficient integration practices.

4. Monitoring, Troubleshooting & Reliability

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues to ensure system stability, performance, and reliability
• Support sustainable issue resolution and continuous improvement of integration services.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Stay current on SAP BTP features, integration best practices, and SAP’s embedded AI capabilities
• Leverage AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar to improve delivery quality and efficiency.

6. Technical Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide technical leadership across the integration domain.
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices across the team to strengthen overall capability and consistency.

7. External Collaboration

• Manage collaboration with external IT Operations suppliers and SAP within the RISE with SAP framework.

Who You Are

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in technical SAP integration, with a strong focus on SAP BTP and SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in a regulated ( GxP) environment is highly desirable.

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of SAP BTP services, including:
  • SAP Integration Suite
  • Event Mesh
  • Cloud Transport Management
  • Mobile Services
  • Cloud ALM
• Strong hands-on configuration experience across SAP BTP integration components.
• Strong technical skills and/or certification in SAP BTP, including:
  • API Management
  • event-driven architecture

Integration & Delivery

• Experience with integration methodologies such as:
  • ETL
  • SOA
  • microservices
• Experience working with DevOps and Agile practices.

AI & Modern Tooling

• Comfortable using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar as part of the daily workflow.

Communication & Collaboration

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Experience in international or cross-cultural teams is highly desirable.

Languages

• Fluent in English (required)
• Spanish is a plus
• Portuguese is an additional advantage
