SAP Manufacturing PS (Project System) -focuses on implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP PS module to manage manufacturing projects efficiently. The role requires a strong understanding of both SAP PS functionalities and core manufacturing processes, with essential integration knowledge of modules like SAP PP, MM, FI/CO, and SD.
Implementation & Configuration - Lead end-to-end SAP PS implementations, including design, development, customization, and deployment of solutions for manufacturing processes.
Business Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate complex manufacturing requirements into functional specifications and robust SAP-based solutions.
Project Management in SAP: Manage core project lifecycle functions within SAP PS, including project structuring (WBS, networks, activities), time scheduling, cost planning, revenue planning, budgeting, material planning/procurement, and settlement/results analysis.
Integration: Ensure seamless integration of the PS module with other relevant SAP modules, such as FI/CO (Finance/Controlling), MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
Support & Troubleshooting: Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, handle change requests, and manage system upgrades/enhancements.
Expertise in SAP PS module configurations and master data.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Project Systems is often mandatory or a strong advantage.
Familiarity with RICEFW (Reports, Interface, Conversion, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflow) development and basic ABAP debugging skills.
Education Typically, a bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Production/Industrial), or a related field.
Experience: A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in SAP Project Systems, with a proven track record of participating in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP PS implementation projects for manufacturing industry.
