SAP Materials Management Experienced Consultant/Manager

Meet Our Team

Join a collaborative SAP Transformation team that helps global organizations modernize their procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations through SAP S/4HANA. Our consultants work closely with business stakeholders, supply chain leaders, and technology teams to design and implement scalable SAP solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

As part of our SAP practice, you will collaborate with experienced functional and technical consultants on enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, leveraging industry best practices and innovative SAP capabilities. This role offers exposure to end-to-end SAP implementation projects and the opportunity to make a direct impact on client success.

What You'll Be Doing:

SAP S/4HANA MM Solution Delivery

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) solutions to support procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Configure SAP MM functionality including procurement processes, inventory management, valuation, and material master data.

Project Lifecycle Execution

  • Participate in full lifecycle SAP implementation projects from requirements gathering through go-live and hypercare support.
  • Facilitate solution design workshops and business process discussions with client stakeholders.
  • Prepare functional specifications for enhancements, reports, forms, interfaces, workflows, and data conversion requirements.
  • Support system configuration, testing, deployment, and production stabilization activities.

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop and execute unit testing scenarios.
  • Support integration testing activities, including test script creation and execution.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve defects during testing cycles.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide effective solutions to ensure successful project delivery.

Data, Security & Cutover Support

  • Assist with master data conversion planning and validation activities.
  • Support security role definition and user access requirements.
  • Participate in cutover planning, deployment readiness assessments, and go-live execution.

Client Engagement & Consulting

  • Conduct client workshops, presentations, and status meetings.
  • Collaborate with client business users and project teams to drive project objectives.
  • Provide recommendations to improve procurement and inventory management processes.
  • Contribute to project planning, risk management, and solution governance activities.

What You Bring to the Team

Functional Expertise

  • 6–8 years of combined SAP and Procurement, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience configuring SAP S/4HANA MM (version 1610 or higher).
  • Experience delivering at least three full lifecycle SAP MM implementations.
  • Deep understanding of:
    • Procurement Processes
    • Purchase Requisitions & Purchase Orders
    • Inventory Management
    • Material Master Data
    • Goods Receipt & Invoice Verification
    • Vendor Management
    • Supply Chain Operations

SAP Knowledge

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA MM configuration and business process design.
  • Knowledge of integration points between MM and:
    • SAP SD
    • SAP PP
    • SAP FI/CO
    • SAP WM/EWM (preferred)
  • Exposure to SAP Warehouse Management (WM) or other logistics modules is highly desirable.

    • Cutover Planning
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within small project teams and client environments.

  • Strong presentation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience within a Management Consulting or IT Consulting environment preferred.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation projects is highly preferred.
  • Flexibility to support project demands and client schedules.
