Job Description

The SAP Project Manager plays a critical role in enabling Nutrinova’s transition into a fully independent, future‑ready company by delivering a robust SAP S/4HANA landscape as part of the SAKURA carve‑out program.

The role ensures that Nutrinova has stable, compliant, and scalable ERP capabilities to support its market positioning in regulated industries and its long‑term growth ambitions beyond 2027. In addition to leading the SAP program execution, the position contributes to shaping Nutrinova’s target IT landscape and governance model.

Responsibilities

YOU will be involved in the following tasks:

  • Lead and govern the SAP S/4HANA program as part of the SAKURA carve‑out, ensuring timely, budget‑compliant, and high‑quality delivery.
  • Act as the single point of accountability for the SAP workstream across business functions, IT partners, and external vendors.
  • Define the SAP target application landscape aligned with Nutrinova’s future operating model and long‑term business strategy.
  • Drive SAP design decisions, ensuring scalability, regulatory compliance, and business fit for a standalone Nutrinova organization.
  • Establish and manage SAP program governance, including milestones, risks, dependencies, escalation mechanisms, and reporting.
  • Coordinate closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality functions to ensure end‑to‑end process integration.
  • Manage and steer system integrators and SAP service providers, ensuring contractual compliance and performance delivery.
  • Support data migration, cutover planning, and go‑live preparation to ensure a stable transition from the former parent environment.
  • Ensure SAP solutions comply with regulatory and compliance requirements typical for food, pharma, or regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Provide regular, clear status updates and decision proposals to executive management and steering committees.
  • Contribute to shaping IT standards, processes, and ways of working for the emerging Nutrinova IT organization.
  • Gradually assume broader IT leadership responsibilities as part of the transition towards a fully established IT department.

Qualifications

What YOU will bring to the team:

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Proven track record as SAP S/4HANA Project or Program Manager.
  • Strong experience steering complex ERP programs in an international, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Ability to operate confidently at executive and board-facing level.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset combined with strategic and long-term thinking.
  • Experience with carve-outs, mergers & acquisitions, or major organizational transformations is highly desirable.
  • Strong program governance, budget control, and vendor management capabilities.
  • Proven capability to define sustainable SAP target landscapes, with sufficient technical depth to effectively steer system integrators, vendors, and IT partners.
  • Solid understanding of IT operating models, IT service management (ITSM), enterprise and application architectures.
  • Ability to balance strategic design with pragmatic delivery under time and cost constraints.
  • Natural authority with a pragmatic, trust-based leadership style.
  • Comfortable working in lean structures with high personal accountability.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align business and IT stakeholders.

Desirable Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Experience in food, pharmaceutical, chemicals, or other regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • Exposure to IT separation programs or post-merger IT integration scenarios is a strong advantage.
  • German language skills are a plus due to the Frankfurt-Höchst site; English is mandatory.
