Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, anddelivery of SAP projects across various modules and business functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing complex SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrades (preferably S/4HANA) and driving successful business outcomes through effective stakeholder collaboration, governance, and delivery excellence

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP projects, including scope definition, planning,execution, and closure.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, resource allocation, and overall project governance.
• Drive SAP implementation, upgrade, and rollout projects (preferably S/4HANA).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business users, functional consultants, developers, and testing teams.
• Ensure alignment with business goals and manage stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies; implement effective mitigation and resolution plans.
• Oversee change management and ensure adherence to organizational and SAP standards.
• Ensure quality assurance processes are followed across all project phases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team to ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
• Coordinate with global teams and vendors to ensure seamless project integration.
• Prepare and present project status reports and dashboards to senior management.
• Continuously improve project delivery frameworks and support SAP governance processes.
• Support to pre-sales activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
• 12+ years of total experience, with 5+ years managing SAP projects.
• Proven track record of successful SAP implementations, upgrades, or rollouts.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA projects (preferred).
• Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, HCM, etc.) and cross-functional integration.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP, Cloud ALM, and testing tools such as Jira, Tosca, HP ALM, or SAP Test Suite.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies – Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Certifications preferred: PMP, Prince2, or SAP Activate Project Manager.
• Experience managing onshore-offshore delivery models and vendor coordination.
• Exposure to budget forecasting, resource planning, and portfolio-level reporting is an advantage.
