Job Description

Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

Role purpose

The role is responsible for the functional support of S/4Hana business application together to deliver functional solutions in projects. The major purpose of the role is to serve locations running S/4 as their ERP platform.

What you will be doing

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level SAP S/4HANA application support for global locations
  • Manage incidents, problems, and change requests, ensuring timely and high-quality solutions
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions
  • Support SAP implementation projects, including configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live activities
  • Ensure stable business operations during critical activities and proactively identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with business teams, architects, developers, and external partners to deliver solutions
  • Support and guide junior consultants by sharing knowledge and best practices
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of SAP processes and support activities
  • Occasionally travel internationally based on business needs

What will make you successful?

  • 5–7 years of experience in SAP application management, support, or project environments
  • Hands-on experience with SAP ECC6 and/or SAP S/4HANA
  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and related modules
  • Experience with SAP configuration and troubleshooting
  • Experience with SAP implementations and post-go-live support in an international environment
  • Manufacturing experience is a strong advantage
  • Degree in IT, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Knowledge of ITIL-based support processes is an advantage
  • Ability to work independently while being a strong team playe
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent English communication skills
