Duties and responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate deep technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
  • Demonstrate ability to quickly assimilate to new knowledge.
  • Possess in-depth business acumen.
  • Remain current on new developments in Consulting capabilities and industry knowledge.
  • Provide subject matter expertise, design expertise and engagement management for SAP BW data and analytics solutions.
  • Deep knowledge of the overall SAP BI/BW roadmap.
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating management on project progress.
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with business client personnel.
  • Build strong internal relationships within the companys finance community and other service lines across the organization.

Qualifications, skills, experience, knowledge and attributes:

  • SAP HANA data modelling using CDS views and full Virtual Data Models is mandatory.
  • SAP HANA, SAP SCM/FI/CO-PA, SAP S/4HANA Finance
  • SAP BI stack (BusinessObjects Webi/OLAP/Analysis for Office)
  • SAP BW/4HANA
  • SAP ABAP (relating to BW) some competence required
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
  • Experienced usage of SAP SolMan, ChARM as well as knowledge of SAP transport mechanisms is essential.
  • Being able to read & write SQL is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience delivering full life-cycle SAP reporting solutions (including in Prepare, Explore, Realize-Build, Realize-Test, Deploy and Support phases) in Business Intelligence (BI) using SAP HANA , BusinessObjects platforms , hybrid BW scenarios and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud)
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC data model and analysis is a must.
  • Experience with SAP Reporting & Analytics front-end tools such as SAP Analytics Cloud suite of products including Analysis for Office.
  • Preferred candidates will have BW4HANA Application/Implementation Certification as well as SAC Certifications.
  • Excellent business communication skills
  • Strong knowledge in ASAP /Activate / Agile methodologies
  • Capability of presenting the value proposition in the module / area,
  • Very good problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience executing a business blueprint and documenting business requirements that can be understood by a technical process team.
  • Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering, and project management methodology experience required.
  • Show initiative and creativity in developing innovative work-around solutions or new processes.
  • Create System Proposals/Functional designs based on the business requirements
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to work as part of a team, inter dependent as well as independently and submit deliverables on time.
  • Flexibility to take up different tasks in the project
  • Worked on global projects/global clients on significant large-scale projects
  • Technically proficient with globally recognised current and relevant certifications to prove it
  • Strong industry experience / exposure
  • Comfortable communicating with senior clients and global stakeholders in verbal and written form
  • Participated in large scale SAP client engagements.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services, driving high-quality work products within the expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Manage expectations of client service delivery.
  • Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business.
  • Should be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Should be comfortable interfacing with a client daily.
  • This role requires daily interaction with the client at many levels.
  • Systems thinking - the ability to see how parts interact with the whole (big picture thinking)
  • Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand
  • Project and program management planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with abstract concepts and communicate these effectively through compelling written and graphical materials
