We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Analyst specializing in SAP Order to Cash (OTC) and Finance to Manage (FTM) processes. The ideal candidate will bring 10–15 years of hands-on SAP experience, with deep expertise in OTC/FTM modules, strong knowledge of interlinked modules, and proven ability to design, configure, and optimize complex business processes. This role will serve as a strategic partner to IT and Finance leadership, ensuring seamless integration across systems and third-party platforms.
Required Skills:
Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and implementation of SAP OTC and FTM processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, FI, CO, and other interlinked modules
Manage and optimize integration with third-party tax engines (e.g. OneSource, Avalara, Vertex) and third-party invoicing platforms (e.g. Edicom, Ariba, Coupa)
Provide expert-level configuration for pricing, billing, credit management, accounts receivable, and general ledger processes
Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions
Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending enhancements
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex system issues
Mentor and guide junior analysts, provide day‑to‑day functional leadership across OTC/FTM initiatives, and demonstrate readiness to evolve into a people‑management role as the team and organization scale
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls
Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, data migration, and system upgrades
Support testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and ensure high-quality deliverables
Document functional specifications, configuration guides, and process flows
Experience in integrations with CRM and CPQ tools (e.g. Salesforce)
Qualifications
10–15 years of SAP OTC/FTM experience, with at least 5 years in a senior or principal analyst role
Strong expertise in SAP SD, FI, CO, MM and their interdependencies
Proven experience with third-party integrations (tax engines, invoicing platforms, payment gateways)
Advanced configuration skills in pricing, billing, AR/AP, GL, and credit management
Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations or implementations preferred
Solid understanding of finance processes, compliance, and audit requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to lead cross-functional workshops and present solutions to senior stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred)
SAP certifications in OTC/FTM or related modules are a plus
Salesforce experience is a plus
Cognex believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is USD $71,000 - $213,000 Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a sales incentive plan.
