Accountabilities:
- Provide end-to-end production support for SAP PP processes, with a strong focus on managing and resolving P1 and P2 priority incidents within defined SLA and KPI targets.
- Analyze critical production issues, assess business impact, and implement immediate corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and recommend long-term preventive measures to improve system stability.
- Support key SAP PP functionalities including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production orders, planned orders, demand management, capacity planning, bills of materials (BOM), work centers, routings, production scheduling, confirmations, and backflush processes.
- Collaborate closely with technical and functional teams across SAP modules such as MM, QM, SD, PM, and other integrated applications to ensure seamless issue resolution.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders during critical incidents, provide status updates, and support escalation management when required.
- Assist in manufacturing master data support and contribute to maintaining planning accuracy and efficient shop floor execution.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of experience in SAP PP functional consulting and production support environments.
- Strong expertise in handling high-priority incidents and supporting business-critical manufacturing operations.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Production Planning processes, including MRP, production orders, BOM management, work centers, routings, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, issue analysis, defect resolution, and functional testing activities.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and production planning business processes and their operational dependencies.
- Good cross-functional knowledge of SAP integrations with MM, QM, SD, and FI/CO modules.
- Experience working with ticket management platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA environments, PP-PI, process manufacturing, Fiori applications, batch management, production reporting, and ITIL processes will be considered an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
