Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver SAP PM implementations, rollouts, and enhancements (ECC or S/4HANA).
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system design.
  • Configure SAP PM core functions, including:
    • Technical Objects (Equipment, Functional Locations, Bills of Material)
    • Maintenance Plans (time-based / performance-based), task lists and strategies
    • Notifications and Work Orders (creation, execution, confirmation, settlement support)
    • Preventive and corrective maintenance processes
  • Support integrations with related SAP modules such as MM (Procurement/Inventory), FI/CO (costing/settlement), and PP/QM where applicable.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for developments (enhancements, forms, interfaces) and ensure fit-to-standard delivery.
  • Prepare test scenarios, coordinate UAT, support defect resolution, and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Develop user documentation and deliver training for key users and end users.
  • Provide production support, incident handling, and continuous process improvements.
  • Support reporting needs (standard PM reports and custom KPI reporting) and drive data quality improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • 3–7+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP PM Consultant (or equivalent seniority).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PM configuration and end-to-end maintenance processes.
  • Practical experience with work management (notifications, orders, confirmations, planning, scheduling).
  • Experience integrating SAP PM with MM (spare parts, purchasing) and FI/CO (cost tracking, settlement).
  • Ability to work independently with stakeholders and deliver workshops (fit-gap / blueprint).
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset.
  • Professional English (spoken and written).

Nice to Have

  • S/4HANA PM experience and exposure to SAP EAM best practices.
  • Experience with Mobile maintenance solutions (SAP Asset Manager / Fiori apps).
  • Knowledge of MRS (Multi-Resource Scheduling) or external scheduling tools.
  • Integration exposure: SAP DMS, GIS, SCADA/IoT, or third-party maintenance systems.
  • Experience in regulated or asset-heavy industries (manufacturing, utilities, oil & gas, pharma).
  • Knowledge of SAP Fiori, authorizations, and master data governance in EAM.
