As part of Hapag-Lloyd's SAP Team, you are working with colleagues in Gdansk, Chennai, Hamburg and around the globe.
In this role, you are responsible for the entire SAP system landscape as well as all connected platforms across the enterprise. You ensure stable, secure and high performing operations while driving the evolution of our application ecosystem toward a modern, cloud based architecture. As a key architect of our digital transformation project fast4ward a S/4Hana greenfield implementation project, you leverage technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), and innovative integration and automation approaches to modernize, harmonize, and futureproof our environment.
You play a central role in shaping the next generation of our IT landscape. Your work supports cloud readiness, platform harmonization, security improvements, performance optimization, and the adoption of new technologies such as event-driven architecture, API-first integration, and low-code development.
As a strong communicator and leader, you collaborate closely with colleagues from our Infrastructure teams, process owners, external partners and colleagues around the globe. Through your expertise and vision, you ensure that our SAP and cloud platforms evolve into a robust, future-ready ecosystem that supports data-driven decision making and accelerates innovation across the organization.

With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies. In the Liner Shipping segment, the Company has around 14,000 employees and 400 offices in 140 countries. Hapag-Lloyd has a container capacity of 3.7 million TEU – including one of the largest and most modern fleets of reefer containers. A total of 133 liner services worldwide ensure fast and reliable connections between more than 600 ports on all the continents. In the Terminal & Infrastructure segment, Hapag-Lloyd has equity stakes in 21 terminals in Europe, Latin America, the United States, India and North Africa. Around 3,000 employees are assigned to the Terminal & Infrastructure segment and provide complementary logistics services at selected locations in addition to the terminal activities.
