About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP MM Consultant – MRP & Replenishment Planning to join our Supply Chain Planning IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for the functional consulting, support, and continuous improvement of SAP MM planning processes across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

Tasks and Qualifications:

The position focuses strongly on classical MRP, material disposition, replenishment planning, and related procurement execution processes. You will act as a key link between business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and technical SAP experts, translating business needs into robust and sustainable SAP solutions. Knowledge of SAP IBP is considered a plus, though it is not the primary focus of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert functional consulting and support for SAP MM planning and disposition processes
  • Support and optimize MRP execution, replenishment logic, and material planning parameters
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solution concepts and specifications
  • Perform and coordinate customizing changes in the SAP MM planning area
  • Support implementation of enhancements in collaboration with developers and technical consultants
  • Ensure stable support for scheduling agreements and delivery schedule release processes
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and process deviations in planning-related MM processes
  • Support testing activities, deployments, and handover into operations
  • Create and maintain documentation, user guidance, and training materials
  • Contribute to the harmonization, standardization, and continuous improvement of planning-related processes

What You Bring

  • Strong functional expertise in SAP MM with a focus on planning-related processes
  • Deep understanding of classical MRP, material disposition, replenishment planning, and procurement execution
  • Hands-on experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA
  • Good practical knowledge of SAP GUI and Fiori-based process execution
  • Solid understanding of scheduling agreements and delivery schedule release processes
  • Ability to analyze requirements and design standard-oriented, sustainable SAP solutions
  • Experience working with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants in international environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Very good command of English, written and spoken

Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in SAP MM consulting, key user support, process support, or implementation
  • Strong hands-on experience in MRP and planning-related MM processes
  • Experience in customizing and supporting MM planning and procurement-related processes
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • SAP certifications are an advantage
  • Experience with SAP IBP and planning integration scenarios is desirable, but not mandatory
