About the Role
We are transforming our SAP IT operating model to a data product and product-oriented approach, and we're seeking an experienced SAP Middleware Engineer to support this exciting transition. You will play a key role in integrating SAP and Non-SAP data sources, particularly focused on HR data (SAP SuccessFactors and others), while working closely with a DevOps-based product team.
This role centers around SAP Datasphere and involves developing data models, implementing data flows, and contributing to a secure, scalable data landscape.

Integrate data from SAP and Non-SAP sources
Develop and model ETL/ELT processes in SAP Datasphere
Implement CDS views for efficient data extraction and modeling
Collaborate with product teams (Functional Analysts, Product Owners) to understand and translate requirements
Document all technical developments and processes
Support the implementation of authorization concepts for secure data access
In-depth technical knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and CDS views
Strong proficiency in SAP development tools
Experience with SAP Middleware solutions
Programming experience in SQL, ABAP, and JavaScript
Excellent understanding of SAP user experience and security models
Proven experience working with HR data systems, including SAP SuccessFactors
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong documentation and communication abilities
Experience using ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
Team-oriented mindset and collaboration skills
Language proficiency in English and one of the following: Dutch, French, or German
