Job Description

Our Client is currently hiring a  SAP MDG Consultant to join their amazing team 
Technology-driven trends such as diverse mobility, electrification and connectivity will revolutionise the mobility industry in the next decade. As a world leader in the automotive industry, our client is setting the pace for this revolution.
Their main areas of focus: vehicle software & operations, mobile online services, IT security, fleet management, sales & after-sales, purchasing & logistics and product portfolio management.
You'll be focused on:
  • Building and configuring the SAP MDG Material solution for After-sales, ensuring full alignment with business needs.
  • Creating detailed functional specifications based on business requirements and custom development needs.
  • Designing and customizing the MDG Material Master data model, user interfaces, workflows, validations, and data quality rules.
  • Designing and configuring change request processes and approval workflows in SAP MDG.
  • Guiding fit–gap analyses between business requirements and SAP standard functionalities.
  • Guiding Material Master owners across ERP systems, ensuring alignment in governance and processes.
  • Documenting governance processes, system configurations, and functional documentation.
  • Creating and executing test cases, supporting functional testing and coordinating UAT.
  • Building training materials and conducting key‑user training sessions.
  • Supporting the hypercare phase after go‑lives, ensuring smooth stabilization.
  • Assessing change requests from a functional perspective and ensuring alignment with PSAT process standards.
  • Designing market‑specific adaptations for international rollouts.
  In order to succeed, you’ll need
  • Extended experience working as an SAP MDG Functional Consultant or in a closely related role.
  • In‑depth knowledge of SAP Material Master (MM) processes and Aftersales‑specific material requirements.
  • Proven expertise in MDG Material customizing, including UI Modeling, Process Modeling, and Validation Rules.
  • Experience with SAP BRFplus for rule configuration.
  • Strong skills in change request management and approval workflow configuration.
  • Strong understanding of data governance concepts and industry best practices.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Great English skills, both written and spoken.
