Job Description

Join our European distribution team and play a key role in ensuring the quality, consistency and governance of our SAP master data. In this role, you will act as a trusted expert for SAP Master data, supporting business-critical processes across procurement, sales and operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders throughout the organisation and contribute to the successful implementation and governance of data standards in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency and reliability of Material Master data while maintaining data quality standards and monitoring relevant KPIs.
  • Perform data stewardship activities, including data validation, cleansing, profiling, testing, mapping and the application of data conversion and transformation rules.
  • Support data governance initiatives by defining, maintaining and enforcing master data standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external compliance audits, ensuring adherence to established governance and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with business, IT, legal and management teams to define data requirements and improve data processes.
  • Support business users through onboarding activities, user guidance, training coordination and the creation and maintenance of manuals and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot master data issues and provide timely solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Contribute to SAP-related projects, data migration initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.

Profile

  • Data management expertise: Proven experience with data profiling, cleansing, validation, mapping, data lineage and governance processes.
  • SAP knowledge: Strong functional knowledge of SAP ERP, particularly within the Material Master domain. Experience with both SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA is considered a plus.
  • Logistics process understanding: Good understanding of how master data impacts business processes such as procurement, sales and production.
  • Analytical mindset: Strong analytical skills combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the the organisation.

  • Language skills: Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
