SAP ISLM & Embedded AI Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE

SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) ships with a continuously growing catalogue of AI-powered embedded use cases managed through the SAP Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management (ISLM) framework. These capabilities — from intelligent invoice classification to demand-driven replenishment suggestions — represent immediate, low-effort value that can be activated without custom development.

As our SAP ISLM & Embedded AI Specialist, you will own the full lifecycle of these embedded AI scenarios for our clients: tracking new use-case notes, assessing applicability, coordinating system configuration, activating scenarios, validating outputs, and transferring knowledge to the client's functional consultants. You will be the go-to expert ensuring clients derive maximum value from SAP's out-of-the-box AI investments.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of SAP functional consulting or SAP Basis experience in S/4HANA environments
• Direct hands-on experience with SAP Intelligent Scenario Lifecycle Management (ISLM) including scenario activation and monitoring
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud operations, SAP Notes application, and SAP One Support Launchpad
• Understanding of at least two SAP functional areas (e.g., FI, MM, SD, PP) relevant to embedded AI use cases
• Ability to read and interpret SAP Note content and understand its system configuration implications
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable presenting technical findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Proficiencyin English (written & verbal)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with SAP RISE Private Cloud managed service delivery model
• Familiarity with SAP AI Core and how custom ML models can complement embedded ISLM use cases
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori launchpad configuration for surfacing AI features to end users
• SAP S/4HANA certification in a relevant functional module
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager or Cloud ALM for change management
• Background in data quality assessment and its impact on ML model accuracy

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitor SAP Notes, SAP One Support Launchpad, and SAP Help Portal for new and updated ISLM-managed AI use cases relevant to the client's S/4HANA Private Cloud release
• Assess applicability of available ISLM scenarios against client business processes and data landscape; produce impact assessments and activation roadmaps
• Coordinate with client Basis/SAP Managed Services teams to apply prerequisite SAP Notes and perform system-side configuration required for ISLM scenario activation
• Activate, train (where applicable), and validate embedded AI scenarios in S/4HANA, including Intelligent Scenario Training and monitoring via ISLM cockpit
• Conduct hands-on testing of activated use cases, comparing AI-generated outputs against expected results and documenting findings
• Create end-user guides and functional knowledge transfer documentation for each activated AI scenario
• Deliver enablement sessions to client functional consultants, super-users, and business owners on newly activated AI capabilities
• Track performance metrics of activated ISLM scenarios post-go-live and recommend retraining or deactivation as appropriate
• Maintain a living catalogue of all available and activated ISLM scenarios for the client environment
