Job Title: SAP IS-Oil Consultant

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (with potential 2-year extension)

Payroll: Managed by System Integrator (SI)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP IS-Oil Consultant to join a high-impact project with one of the leading oil companies in the UAE. This role involves spearheading the implementation of SAP IS-Oil solutions, ensuring seamless integration with business operations, and optimizing processes for enhanced efficiency. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry expertise, technical proficiency, and a strategic mindset to drive success in this mission-critical implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full lifecycle implementation of SAP IS-Oil modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and industry best practices.
• Conduct detailed business requirement gathering, analyze current processes, and recommend SAP IS-Oil solutions to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Design and develop customized SAP IS-Oil solutions, leveraging best practices to optimize business operations within the oil and gas industry.
• Configure and customize SAP IS-Oil modules, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP systems such as MM, SD, FICO, and PM.
• Conduct comprehensive functional and technical testing, including system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure seamless deployment.
• Provide subject matter expertise on SAP IS-Oil functionalities, including Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM), Tariffs and Pricing, Exchanges, and Supply Chain Optimization.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into SAP IS-Oil solutions.
• Work closely with the technical team to design and develop custom enhancements when necessary.
• Lead end-user training sessions and documentation development to facilitate knowledge transfer and adoption of SAP solutions.
• Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting issues, and driving continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and security best practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, offering strategic recommendations for SAP IS-Oil enhancements and business process improvements.

Required Expertise & Skills:

• 15+ years of SAP experience, with a strong focus on SAP IS-Oil solutions.
• Proven track record of at least 3 full-cycle SAP IS-Oil implementations in large-scale enterprises, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Deep expertise in SAP IS-Oil functionalities, including:
• Hydrocarbon Product Management (HPM)
• Exchanges and Secondary Distribution
• Tariffs and Pricing
• Supply Chain Management
• Downstream Logistics
• Contract and Shipment Management
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules that integrate with IS-Oil, such as SAP MM, SD, FICO, and PM.
• Experience in working with SAP S/4HANA is highly preferred.
• Ability to perform gap analysis, business process mapping, and solution design tailored to the oil and gas industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities.
• Prior experience working in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE, is a plus.
