Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.

GBS IT supports all business areas in Hydro with infrastructure and application related operations and projects. We are in an exciting period of technological transformation, as our IT landscape is changing rapidly with the use of S/4HANA and the SAP Business Technology platform.

The S/4HANA systems are seen as a key enabler for continuous digital transformation in Hydro, meaning that our SAP team will continue to transform the SAP landscape for 32,000 employees globally over the next few years, in collaboration with the business.

We are now looking to hire a SAP Lead Integration Architect to join us in realizing Hydro’s ambitious SAP roadmap!

What you will be doing

• Drive and govern Hydro’s SAP integration strategy and roadmap for the strategic SAP systems in Hydro (S/HANA, BTP, Datasphere / BDC, Ariba, SuccessFactors, Joule etc)
• Ensure integration standards for security, performance, error handling and monitoring
• Participate in pre-project evaluations and give advice and directives for required integrations
• Provide quality assurance, design and development on strategic integration projects, including end‑to‑end integration scenarios (APIs, events, interfaces, and data flows)
• Explore, evaluate and share knowledge about new and emerging SAP technologies within the domain

What will make you successful?

• Long term experience in SAP Integration tools like Process Orchestration/Integration, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Event Hub/Mesh
• Knowledge of related Azure-based Integration tools is of advantage
• Deep understanding of integration protocols and their configuration in S/4HANA
• Experience with activation of cloud-based services (SAP Business Technology Platform), RESTful service and consumption techniques and authentication methods
• Experience / knowledge of monitoring tools for interfaces (Cloud ALM)
• Insights to the Clean Core principles
• As a person, you have a proactive and structured approach to activities and projects, and you manage to combine hands-on work with an understanding of the big picture
• You are a collaborative team player with good communication skills and the ability to passing on competence to others and building relationships with stakeholders in the organization, partners, and external vendors
