Key responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Inhouse Consultant specializing in SAP Warehouse Management (WM). Your expertise in business processes and system design, combined with strong communication skills, will be essential in identifying and implementing optimal solutions together with key business stakeholders. You will become part of a team of professional consultants dedicated to delivering excellence.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Participating in exciting projects involving the implementation and continuous enhancement of SAP WM solutions.

• Collaborating with IS Service Managers and Business Process Specialists to estimate the effort required for developing IS solutions as part of change requests and project initiatives.

• Conducting comprehensive business analyses to support decision-making related to IS solutions.

• Working closely with business departments to understand their requirements and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.

• Preparing functional specifications and technical solution concepts for both projects and day-to-day system operations.

• Independently implementing specifications and solution designs through SAP customizing.

• Supporting the administration, maintenance, and optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS services.

• Acting as the subject matter expert for SAP WM, contributing both to ongoing operations and the development of new solutions.

• Guiding temporary teams of internal and external colleagues, ensuring successful task completion and effective knowledge transfer where required.

Qualifications for the role

• Several years of experience as an SAP Consultant, preferably in an in-house role, with strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM) customizing and solution design.

• Knowledge of ABAP, with at least debugging skills required.

• Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and collaborate within cross-functional, virtual, and international teams.

• Experience working in a corporate or matrix organization.

• A proactive approach to partnering with business stakeholders to deliver the best possible solutions.

• A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration (preferably with a focus on Logistics or IT), Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.

• Fluent in both German and English.

• Willingness to travel. Average travel is approximately 20% within Germany. During specific project phases lasting several weeks and requiring on-site presence, travel may temporarily increase.
