Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Consultant with strong hands‑on expertise in Order‑Based Planning (OBP) and Period‑Based Planning to support design, implementation, and optimization of SAP IBP solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with SAP IBP integrations (RTI and CI‑DS) and a proven track record delivering end‑to‑end planning solutions in complex enterprise environments.

This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to San Jose for workshops, testing, or key project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy SAP IBP Order‑Based Planning and Period‑Based Planning solutions aligned to business requirements
• Lead and support end‑to‑end planning scenarios including demand, supply, inventory, and order fulfillment
• Implement and manage SAP IBP integrations using Real‑Time Integration (RTI) and CI‑DS between SAP S/4HANA or ECC and SAP IBP
• Translate business planning requirements into IBP models, key figures, planning operators, and time series data structures
• Support data model design, master data alignment, and planning area configuration
• Troubleshoot integration issues related to CIF replacement, real‑time order flow, and data consistency
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, supply chain planners, IT teams, and external partners
• Support testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and support to business users and internal teams
• Participate in performance tuning, continuous improvement, and solution optimization initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on SAP IBP experience (minimum)
• Proven experience with SAP IBP Order‑Based Planning (OBP)
• Strong expertise in Period‑Based Planning within SAP IBP
• Hands‑on experience with SAP IBP integrations, including:
• RTI (Real‑Time Integration)
• CI‑DS (Cloud Integration for Data Services)
• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ECC
• Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts (demand, supply, inventory, order fulfillment)
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with advanced supply chain planning scenarios such as allocation, prioritization, and order confirmation
• Exposure to SAP IBP Demand, Response & Supply, or Inventory modules
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
• Prior client‑facing consulting or system integrator experience
• Strong documentation and stakeholder presentation skills

Work Environment & Travel

• Remote role, with flexibility to work from any location
• Occasional travel to San Jose, CA, for key project phases (planning workshops, testing, go‑live support)
