Job Title: SAP Hybris (Commerce Cloud) Senior Technical Developer

 Experience: 8+ Years

Must Have: SAP Hybris Commerce 1905 and above

Desired: SAP ECC/ S4 HANA/ CRM Understanding

  • Hands on development experience in Hybris e-commerce platform (B2C and B2B platforms)
  • Strong hands-on experience in customizing Hybris based e-Commerce Applications, Hybris CMS and e-commerce suite (WCMS, Solr, HMC, CMS & Product Cockpit, Admin Console, CronJobs, ImpEx, Import/Export Service, Catalog, Categories, Products)
  • Hybris implementation experience with SAP integration is a must.
  • Hands-on experience in Spring framework including spring-core, springMVC, spring-ws, spring-data, spring-security.
  • Hands-on experience in architecting/leading a highly scalable REST/SOAP web services-based systems.
  • Hands-on experience in publishing and consuming web services.
  • Hands-on experience with App servers Jetty Apache Tomcat
  • Leading software development teams is a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of web technologies such as Java, J2EE (EJBs, servlets, JSP, Struts) Application Servers, Portal Applications and Standards, Content Management Systems, AJAX, JavaScript and XML technologies.
  • Strong knowledge in developing AJAX based web applications.
  • Hands on experience in publishing and consuming web services
  • Extensive implementation knowledge of Software Design on SAP Commerce OOTB and Custom components
  • Knowledge of site monitoring tools such as Kibana , Dynatrace etc.
  • Knowledge of Mobile App implementation via APIs, Flutter, Firebase etc.
  • Should have experience/understanding in Web analytics implementations.
  • Should have Unix background also needs to be comfortable writing Unix scripts.
  • Should be able to performance tune applications and assist team members
  • Should have experience in Single-Sign On implementations in web applications
  • Proficient SQL database experience

  • 3+ years development/ engineering with Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework
  • Solid understanding of application design
  • Experience with WebServices (REST, SOAP)
  • JMS
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies

Beneficial skills

  • ABAP programming (Nice to have) or Good Understanding of SAP SD.
  • Integration with other SAP CX solutions like C4C
  • Integration via SAP CPI



ROLE

  • Executes against project plans and delivers assignments within scope & schedule.
  • Adopts and adapts to newly approved technologies, programming languages, tools, and standards.
  • Analyzes user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints, including the ability to estimate work needed.
  • Assesses functional and nonfunctional requirements and creates designs to meet both business and technical needs.
  • Creates conceptual and detailed technical design documents.
  • Provides implementation expertise contributing to rollback, post install, data migration, and other artifacts as required including creation of support plans.
  • Adheres to security management practices and promotes established security standards.
  • Works with diagrams and documents the orchestration system solutions, configurations, break/fix procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and solves code level problems quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
  • Creates automated unit and integration tests in their local environments after code development.
  • Provides specific, relevant reporting for stakeholders in support of root cause analysis on critical issues.
  • Adheres to the Change Management processes.

The role will a work on development and deployment for minor bug fixes and enhancement requests, and it is expected for the candidate to take ownership on continuously improving existing processes and practices. They must possess a hunger to grow and learn through daily activities along with reaching beyond their comfort zone to build knowledge and experience. Candidates must possess a passion to identify and implement accurate root cause of issues identified across the eCommerce solution.

The candidate must have strong communication skills, demonstrating their ability to successfully collaborate with Business Stakeholders, Solution Architects, Release Managers, Support teams and various levels of business and IT Management. They must be flexible and manage their time wisely while also demonstrating a strong sense of urgency on critical issues.
