As a Payroll Solution Architect, you will be responsible for:
· Design, develop, and customize functionalities within SAP HCM modules, including Payroll, Personnel Administration, Time Management, Travel Management, Interfaces, and Organizational Management.
· Serve as the functional liaison between Operations, Business Process Leads, and the Applications Team, translating business needs into functional specifications.
· Lead or contribute to the execution of both large and small HR projects, including compliance with legal and HR-related requirements.
· Define and Execute development in SAP HR/HCM using technologies such as ABAP, Web Dynpro, Floor Plan Manager, Web Services, SAP Fiori, and UI5.
· Analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize existing programs and implement necessary enhancements.
· Manage day-to-day operational activities in SAP ECC for HR.
· Automate routine tasks by developing scripts and templates to streamline support and management operations.
· Continuously assess and improve systems and processes based on user feedback and incident analysis.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and implementation guides.

To be successful in this role you will have:
· Must have 7+ years of SAP HCM/HR configuration experience in Payroll, Employee data management, Organization Management, Tax and HR operations
· Posting payroll to finance in SAP ECC and S/4
· Excellent understanding of US & Canada Payroll Processing Methodology. Deep knowledge in payroll schemas and Rules, Wage Types, Overpayment Functionality
· BSI tax factory configuration and maintenance. Knowledge of FICA limits, Tax Reporter, SAP Note/BSI TUB updates and Year End activities.
· Tax update bulletin application and testing
· Garnishment configuration
· Benefits configuration and integration with payroll
· Knowledge in direct deposit and check configurations
· Experience with integrating and interfacing third-party vendors with SAP
· Experience with testing activities – Test scenario creation, defect triaging, support test execution
· Experience with modern SAP technologies (Fiori, UI5) is highly desirable.
· Exposure to SuccessFactors and Human Experience Management is an advantage.
· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
