We are looking for an experienced
SAP HCM / SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant
with strong expertise in
US Payroll, SAP ECC Payroll, and S/4HANA payroll migration projects
. This is an implementation-focused role requiring hands-on experience in payroll configuration, requirement gathering, integration, testing, and end-to-end payroll delivery across global HR transformation projects.
The ideal candidate should have experience in
full payroll lifecycle implementations
, including configuration, unit testing, go-live support, and post-implementation stabilization.
Lead end-to-end payroll implementation and configuration in SAP HCM / SuccessFactors environments.
Configure payroll systems based on provided requirements and perform unit testing and validation.
Support ECC to S/4HANA payroll migration initiatives.
Troubleshoot payroll schema, PCRs, and resolve payroll-related issues.
Gather requirements, analyze HR business processes, and design target operating models.
Document current (As-Is) processes and recommend optimized (To-Be) solutions.
Map business processes to SAP HCM / SuccessFactors modules.
Identify system gaps, limitations, and improvement opportunities.
Manage integrations with Employee Central, ADP, finance systems, and third-party vendors.
Perform interface testing, mapping, and data validation.
Retrieve and validate data from Employee Central systems.
Develop functional specifications, configuration workbooks, and documentation.
Create test scenarios, test cases, scripts, and datasets.
Support cutover activities, go-live, hypercare, and ongoing production support.
Work in large global project teams and lead smaller teams where required.
Manage risks, project timelines, change control processes, and escalation points.
Support Statement of Work preparation, budgeting, and project estimation.
Ensure SLA compliance and successful project delivery.
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, customers, and project teams.
Provide subject matter expertise on SAP HR and SuccessFactors payroll solutions.
Mentor team members and foster a collaborative work environment.
Minimum
4+ years of SAP HCM / SuccessFactors payroll experience
.
Strong expertise in:
SAP US Payroll configuration
ECC Payroll and S/4HANA payroll migration
Personnel Administration (PA) / Organizational Management (OM)
Experience with at least
two end-to-end payroll implementations
.
Strong knowledge of:
US tax forms, year-end payroll activities
Benefits and time management integration
Payroll schemas and PCR troubleshooting
Experience working with large, distributed project teams.
Strong business process understanding and HR/payroll domain expertise.
Experience integrating SAP payroll with external vendors (e.g., ADP) is preferred.
Exposure to global payroll implementations (US, Canada, or other regions).
Finance and third-party integration knowledge.
SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) certification (optional).
Experience with on-premise payroll systems is acceptable.
Bachelor’s degree required:
B.Tech / B.E / MBA / MCA or equivalent qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to lead projects, mentor teams, and drive process improvements.
Strong documentation, testing, and project delivery capabilities.
