We are currently searching for a SAP HANA DB Admin:

Responsibilities

  • This role demands operational excellence, SLA adherence, and continuous learning in a dynamic global support setup
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep technical expertise in HANA/Sybase database administration, proactive issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination in a managed service delivery model.
  • SAP HANA Administrator to provide L2/L3 support for complex SAP landscapes.
  • Deliver L2/L3 technical support for SAP HANA infrastructure in compliance with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Administer HANA and Sybase databases, including backup, recovery, performance tuning, and space management.
  • Handle P1/P2 incidents with urgency and precision, ensuring timely resolution and de-escalation.
  • Track and report SLA/KPI metrics; ensure compliance with ITIL best practices.
  • Prior experience in ECS (Enterprise Cloud Services) will be considered an advantage.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in HANA and Sybase database operations.

  • Experience in managed service delivery and global support environments.

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and SLA/KPI tracking.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Here are some of the key activities that a HANA Admin must know, all related to HANA Database and ASE Sybase

  • Update database software, DMM
  • Table partitioning
  • Maintain system parameter
  • Manage hana replication
  • Install ODBC
  • Backup/ restore

Languages

  • Advanced Oral English.
  • Advanced Spanish.
