About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Lead with deep expertise in Fleet Management (FLM) and/or Transportation Management (TM) to join a high-profile defense transformation program in the Middle East. The successful candidate will own end-to-end solution design and delivery within their functional domain, leading a team of SAP consultants and serving as the primary interface between the implementation team and the defense ministry client.
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role that requires both deep technical depth in SAP FLM/TM and the gravitas to manage stakeholder relationships in a defense environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the FLM/TM functional domain from design through go-live, owning all deliverables within the agreed project timeline
• Define solution architecture for fleet and transportation processes, ensuring alignment with SAP best practices and defense-sector requirements
• Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and fit-gap analyses with the client's business and technical stakeholders
• Supervise and mentor functional team members, monitoring day-to-day performance and quality of output
• Collaborate with technical, security, and other functional domain leads to ensure integrated, end-to-end solutions
• Engage with the authorization team to establish and implement appropriate security models within the FLM/TM domain
• Drive issue resolution across implementation, testing, and upgrade cycles
• Review and provide input to shared project deliverables including UAT plans, configuration documents, and cutover strategies
• Monitor system performance post-go-live and lead fine-tuning activities to ensure peak operational performance
• Participate in change request assessment and document justification for scope changes

CodeNinja is a Middle Eastern–American Software & AI company helping businesses build AI systems and learning architectures for mission-critical workloads.
With offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Riyadh, and Lahore, our work centers on enabling organizations to develop capabilities across workplaces and factory floors using both open-source and proprietary AI models, spanning generative and deterministic systems.
We believe most workplaces and factory floors are not ready for the post-AGI era of work. Our mission is to help enterprises reimagine how work itself is organized and executed so that human talent and automation not only coexist but thrive. We call this mission: “Reimagining Workplaces for Post-AGI Readiness.”
At the core of our approach is Hyper Tools, our integrated Platform + Services model, designed to accelerate the creation of AI applications and agents in complex domains. Hyper Tools reduces the generality of large models through reinforcement learning, rapid development workflows and purpose built synthetic and manual Data creation.
Our focus spans four core thrust areas:
Physical AI Systems – Building AI/ML systems for physical infrastructure. Some of the world’s leading chemical and energy companies rely on CodeNinja’s outcome-based, vendor-independent models to enhance operational efficiency and revenue.
Work AI – Developing agentic AI systems that transform workplace processes into adaptive, intelligent experiences.
Hyper Core – Enabling enterprises to build software and automation layers in-house instead of outsourcing to Software Services Vendors.
Global Capability & AI Centers – Partnering with universities and developer communities in South Asia and South America to build AI and research talent pipelines, helping global companies scale their capabilities sustainably.
Founded by 4 Engineers and incredible team of operators, CodeNinja is united by this mantra of " Inspiration and Innovation for every knowledge worker in the world"
