We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Functional Consultant to support the architectural design and end-to-end implementation of global e-Invoicing and e-Taxation legal mandates across Middle Europe (MEU) and Middle East & Africa (MEA).

In this role, you will ensure that logistics, procurement, and sales processes remain compliant with rapidly evolving local tax and regulatory requirements while maintaining seamless integration across SAP ecosystems and external platforms.

This is you

• 7+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant.

• At least 2–3 full-cycle SAP implementations.

• Strong hands-on expertise in: SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management, LIV), SAP SD (Pricing, Billing, Shipping), SAP LE (Inbound/Outbound Deliveries, Transportation)

• Experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• Familiarity with SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC/eDocument Cockpit) is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of MEA and MEU regulatory requirements, including: KSA/UAE VAT; Egyptian e-Invoicing ; EU VAT regulations; Intrastat GDPR-related considerations

• Experience with EDI/IDoc integrations and external compliance platforms.

• English – upper intermediate or higher.

Nice to-have skills:

• SAP Certification in MM, SD, or S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement / Sales.

• Certifications related to SAP Tax Compliance or SAP DRC.

• Experience working in multinational enterprise environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.

This is your role

• Implement country-specific e-invoicing and e-taxation mandates across MEU and MEA regions, including: ZATCA / Zakat requirements in Saudi Arabia; VAT reporting obligations; Intrastat filings for EU member states

• Configure SAP SD processes to support local billing, tax determination, and legally required output forms.

• Ensure SAP MM processes comply with localized procurement and vendor master data requirements.

• Support SAP LE compliance related to customs documentation, import/export regulations, and logistics processes.

• Participate in the deployment of compliance solutions in SAP ECC integrated with EDICOM and government portals.

• Support future S/4HANA implementations using SAP DRC (Document and Reporting Compliance) and government integrations.

• Lead workshops with business and legal stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications.

• Configure and customize SAP processes across P2P, OTC, STO, and logistics flows.

• Perform gap analysis between global templates and local legal requirements.

• Design and coordinate RICEFW developments where necessary.

• Manage integrations with external government portals, EDI/IDoc interfaces, and third-party logistics providers (3PL).

• Lead Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and UAT activities using tools such as INT4 and Tricentis Tosca.
