In this position, you will work at the intersection of Accounting, Regulatory Reporting, Business and IT. If you enjoy combining accounting expertise with process optimization and system-driven solutions, this is an opportunity to make a real impact.

Your Tasks

  • Take ownership of SAP Financial Products Subledger (FPSL) and contribute to the ongoing development and optimization
  • Analyze, reconcile, and ensure the quality of accounting and valuation data between FPSL, the general ledger, and upstream systems.
  • Independently prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, perform accounting in accordance with IFRS and UGB, and carry out account reconciliations.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory and accounting-related requirements as well as the introduction of new products and processes.
  • Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to drive the optimization and digitalization of accounting processes, from business requirements and solution design to testing and implementation.
  • Contact person for supported entities as well as external partners, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial authorities.

Your Background

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a comparable qualification.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting within a financial institution or another regulated environment. Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting standards (IFRS and UGB).
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel. Experience with SAP FPSL or SAP S/4HANA Finance is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to structure complex topics and translate business requirements into practical solutions.
  • Proactive and collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and very good English; German is an advantage.
