We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated SAP FICO Lead to join our growing technology and business transformation team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP FICO modules, strong leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in delivering end-to-end SAP implementations and support projects. This role requires close collaboration with finance stakeholders, business leaders, technical teams, and external partners to streamline financial operations and drive process excellence through SAP solutions.

The SAP FICO Lead will be responsible for leading functional design, configuration, implementation, support, and optimization of SAP Finance and Controlling processes. The candidate should have strong analytical abilities, problem-solving skills, and experience managing teams in complex enterprise environments.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP FICO implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects across business units.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to Finance and Controlling processes.
• Configure and customize SAP FICO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to design scalable and efficient SAP solutions.
• Lead workshops, requirement discussions, testing activities, and user training sessions.
• Coordinate with technical teams for developments, integrations, data migration, and interface design.
• Ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and HCM.
• Provide production support and resolve critical business issues within defined SLAs.
• Mentor and guide junior consultants and functional analysts.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, configuration documents, and training materials.
• Participate in system upgrades, patch implementations, and performance optimization initiatives.
• Drive best practices, process improvements, and compliance standards within SAP financial operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
• Expertise in core SAP FICO processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
• Experience leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and controlling processes.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of integration with SAP MM, SD, and other modules.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in data migration, testing, and cutover activities.
• Familiarity with reporting tools and financial reporting processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP FICO certification is preferred.
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail, healthcare, or enterprise consulting environments is an advantage.
• Exposure to global finance operations and multi-country implementations is desirable.
