SAP FI Business Analyst – SAP Testing (4–5 Years Experience)

SAP FI Business Analyst / SAP FI Tester

We are looking for an experienced SAP FI Business Analyst with strong expertise in SAP Testing. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP Finance (FI) modules, test planning, execution, defect tracking, and business process validation. The role involves collaborating with functional consultants, business users, and QA teams to ensure high-quality SAP implementations and support activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements related to SAP FI processes
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data
  • Perform Functional, Integration, Regression,FAT, and UAT testing
  • Validate SAP FI modules including:
    • General Ledger (GL)
    • Accounts Payable (AP)
    • Accounts Receivable (AR)
    • Asset Accounting (AA)
    • Bank Accounting
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand process flows
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA/Azure Devop.
  • Support SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects
  • Perform data validation and reconciliation testing
  • Coordinate with MM, SD, EWM and other cross-functional teams
  • Prepare testing reports and status updates

Required Skills

Functional Skills

  • Strong understanding of SAP FI business processes
  • Experience in end-to-end SAP testing lifecycle
  • Knowledge of finance/accounting concepts
  • Experience with UAT coordination

Technical/Testing Skills

  • SAP ECC or S/4HANA exposure
  • Test management tools: HP ALM, JIRA, Azure DevOps, Solution Manager
  • SQL/basic data validation knowledge preferred
  • E2E Integration testing knowledge with MM/SD modules

Mandatory Qualifications

  • 4–5 years of SAP FI functional/testing experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills

  • SAP S/4HANA exposure
  • SAP certification in FI/Testing
  • Agile/Scrum project experience
