The Sr. Applications Analyst, FI position is responsible for requirements definition, application analysis and functional design of new solutions as well as performing operational system support within and Banking. Included in the responsibility of this position is the delivery of enhancements and maintenance of existing applications, meeting service level agreements, product and lifecycle management for SAP, SAP-integrated and non-SAP service areas. The individual will be responsible to drive sustainable, operational excellence in the delivery of new application enhancements and existing services.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

This position is responsible for the following:

  • Providing technical direction in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, maintenance for bug fixes and enhancements related to SAP Treasury and In-House Cash Management, Banking, and related interfaces

  • Facilitating business process discussions, to gather and clearly document business requirements which ensure value-add and meet the client objectives

  • Define test strategies and ensure thorough functional testing is completed prior to production deployment

  • Partner with Change and Release Management to ensure effective representation, coordination and compliance throughout the change and release lifecycle

  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to support the successful delivery of project milestones and deliverables

  • Actively participate in solution design sessions and program‑level functional design reviews

  • Drive continuous improvement by optimizing services and work processes, improving solution quality and reliability and reducing total cost of ownership

  • Deliver and support existing application services through effective incident, problem and change management while ensuring SLA compliance

  • Provide rotational on‑call support coverage as required

  • Manage SAP background job scheduling, including additions and changes and coordinate with the IT Batch Management and scheduler team.

This position requires strong technical expertise and professional experience in the following areas:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience

  • 10+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and supporting SAP Treasury, In‑House Cash and Banking solutions

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Financial Supply Chain Management, including Dispute Management, Credit Management and Collections Management

  • Strong proficiency in SAP and its integration with other SAP modules as well as non‑SAP systems

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective SAP‑configured solutions

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred but not mandatory
