Job Description

Key purpose:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SAP FI-CO consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, and will be responsible for the implementation, customization, and support of SAP solutions for our clients.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Lead or participate in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and deployment of SAP FI-CO solutions.
• Ensure the correct implementation of SAP best practices and adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Work with clients to understand their business requirements and provide recommendations for optimizing their SAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain SAP master data, such as general ledger accounts, cost centers, and internal orders.
• Create and maintain SAP reports using SAP Query, Report Painter/Report Writer, and SAP Business Intelligence (BI).
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance of SAP solutions, including bug fixing, performance tuning, and process improvements.
• Train clients on the use of SAP solutions and provide technical documentation as required.

Qualifications and experience:

• Strong understanding of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules and their integration with other SAP modules.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in implementation and support projects in SAP FI-CO.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and their implementation in SAP.
• Strong understanding of business processes related to finance and controlling.
• Ability to lead or participate in SAP projects from blueprint to go-live and support.
• Good communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage project tasks and deliverables independently.
• Familiarity with the SAP project methodology, including ASAP and Agile.
• SAP certification in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and/or Controlling (CO) is preferred.
